Selection Process

Selection will be based on the following criteria:

• An equitable distribution of students from countries globaly that are actively developing CCS.
• A distribution of students with regards to academic background to ensure a broad range of opinion on CCS issues.
• The quality of the rationale developed by the student for attending the summer school and presented in the application letter. (It is assumed that all students will have a high academic standing by virtue of the fact that they are in graduate school.)
A supporting letter from the Professor outlining the benfits to the student from attending this Summer School.

The selection team will be made up of members from IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme and the International Steering Committee.
